I served in the U.S. Army enlisting as an Infantryman in 1974 and retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 3, Instructor Pilot, flying Cobra helicopters and Huey Medevac in 1995. In that same year, I graduated from St. Martin's College in Washington State with a Bachelors degree in Operations Management.
My first computer was an Apple IIe purchased in 1983 which led me into attempting to figure how those darn things would work for me. ? (still working on that..)
Digital Consulting was started in 1997, as a paid consultant for a new software product designed for manufacturing companies called DBA Software, hence now referred to as DBA Classic of which EVO-ERP sprung from to take over and greatly improves the original product.
DBA Software (Classic) was then, one of the first Business Software applications to address the needs of a manufacturing entity, to process Inventory, Work Orders with Routings and Labor Entry, Purchasing, BOM, Sales, and Payroll, integrating with a full Accounting Module.
I quickly learned how well this product could benefit those small companies, where typically only a few people are performing all of the job duties, as well as medium to larger size companies that departmentalized their separate job functions. DBA Software (Classic) with its ability to operate on a Network proved to meet and exceed most users needs.
I have assisted manufacturing companies and job shops all over California, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Georgia, Ohio, Massachusetts, Alabama, Michigan, Wisconsin, Montana, Pennsylvania, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and even in Mexico, Canada, and the Czech Republic!
