As referenced in other areas of my website, and in order to support your ERP financial & manufacturing software operations, like EVO-ERP, DBA Classic, or DBA Manufacturing Next Generation, there are certain tools you need to support your daily tasks and enhance your efficiencies. I will add to this list as needed to make sure you have an easy reference to download related software, or instructions or operating tips.

  • 1. There are many Crystal Report Viewers out on the market with varying capabilities and prices. The reports you purchase from my store will be emailed to you with a file format that is a "read only" version of a Crystal Report ( with file extension of *.rpz not *.rpt). This basically means you cannot edit or alter the design. No problem, the report is fully functional and interactive with the user. The design itself has what you need for that specific report, and for those reports that necessitate user interaction, you will have the parameters to filter your record selection.
    • a. I highly recommend that you visit and purchase this powerful Crystal Report VIEWER called DataLink Viewer from Millet Software. It is a solid performing report viewer, with great technical support if needed, at a very in-expensive cost to you. This is the ONLY report viewer that will operate the reports I send you, unless other arrangements are made.

  • 2. All reports use the Pervasive ODBC driver with a DSN titled: CRWDBA that points to you company data. Please review or download this PowerPoint that explains how an ODBC DSN is created and the simple naming convention I'm using for my reports.
  • 3. When you need remote support, please visit the TeamViewer website to download the Customer Quick Support. It is a temporary install on your PC, and with a unique ID to your computer, which requires a password each time you run it. This means that once it's shut down, I cannot reconnect to your PC unattended. It is a very secure connection, that is fast and efficient. I can transfer files if I need to, and fully control your computer and application to conduct the training or troubleshoot, and fix, the problem you're experiencing.

  • 4. If you're interested in creating and designing your own reports, then you'll be interested in using the most powerful report writer in the world, Crystal Reports! Is now owned and published and sold by SAP.
  • 5. If you are interested in a full ERP solution to your manufacturing company, you'll be very interested in EVO-ERP!
